Library of the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FEP)
The Library of FEP at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM) was established in 1973. It began with a collection of over 440 books and initially served students in the field of psychology. In 1991, with the addition of Educational Sciences, Library and Information Science, and Physical Education (later established as an independent faculty), the collection expanded to approximately 34,000 volumes. Today, the library houses around 55,000 Persian and English books within an 800 m² facility, offering services through two staff members across the following sections:
Sections:
- 1 - Circulation Department
- 2 - Reference Section (including reference services, journals, information services, acquisitions, and administrative affairs)
- 3 - Study Halls (separate sections for men and women)

Programs and Activities
- Organizing training workshops to enhance academic skills, information literacy, use of educational software, and information retrieval for students, faculty, and staff
- Developing the faculty’s educational and research resources (Persian and English, reference and non-reference)
- Meeting users’ information needs, including access to books, articles, and theses
- Identifying reliable international academic resources and providing regular updates
- Offering information consultation and facilitating access to credible scientific materials
