About the Faculty
The Faculty of Education and Psychology at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM) is among the oldest and most prominent higher education institutions in northeastern Iran. It officially commenced operations in 1973 with the mission of training specialists in education, psychology, and information science.
The faculty currently comprises 41 academic staff members and approximately 1,185 students enrolled in undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs, establishing it as a significant academic and educational center within the humanities.
The faculty’s vision is to be recognized nationally and regionally as a leading scientific authority, fostering an innovative approach rooted in societal needs and global scientific advancements, while actively pursuing sustainable, knowledge-driven development.
Furthermore, the faculty operates a student counseling and psychological clinic, structured to effectively address students’ concerns and provide comprehensive professional support.
